Abstract
本研究主要目的在於透過傳統儒釋道三家的靈性生態論述,思考全人教育的圖像與內涵,以體驗人與自然本為一體的生命智慧。基於此,研究者首先探究加拿大學者John Miller的全人教育觀點,藉由他的著作,認識他對於全人教育、靈性教育、生命教育的看法,以及在教育場域的具體實踐,以了解他所提出的全人教育的樣貌。研究者並且探究傳統經典中的靈性生態智慧,經由古人的說法,體會人與自然之關係,以及天人合一之道理,思考這些道理對於人類生命的影響,及其教育價值。最後,以Miller的思想為基礎,配合傳統經典的智慧,提出自己的教育論述,思考當前社會與環境危機之下,現代人所需要的全人教育為何,以及教育現場可以如何協助學習者發展成「全人」的理想,在體悟人與自然的密切聯結之下,開展出更豐富的生命層次與個人的靈性。The aim of this study is to delineate the significance on the holistic education through wisdom of spiritual ecology from Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism. According to this purpose, first, the viewpoint on the holistic education from Canadian educationist John Miller is explored. Miller draws up abundant ideas about holistic education, spiritual education and life education. His works are useful to understand the core of holistic education and its educational practices. Second, by means of wisdom in traditional classics, the relationship between humans and nature is revealed. Humans and nature are integrated into the oneness is a vital foundation to realize human intrinsic value and educational direction. Third, based on Miller’s ideas and traditional philosophies on spiritual ecology, the researcher thinks of intention of holistic education and manners of cultivating a learner to be a sound whole-person. Under social and environmental crises, it is important to realize humans and nature are inseparable for achieving rich human life and spiritual development.
