Description

Abstract
"兩性薪資差異一直以來皆是勞動經濟領域中的重要議題,雖然目前已有不少文 獻針對兩性之間薪資差異的影響因素進行討論,但鮮少文獻針對「兩性工作平 等法」對兩性薪資差異的影響進行研究。故本計畫企圖以1992 年至2012 年的 人力運用調查資料為基礎,並使用difference-in-differences propensity score matching 與differences-in-differences-in-differences的計量模型進行估計此法對兩 性薪資差異影響之政策效果,而所得之結果將有助於瞭解「兩性工作平等法」 在兩性薪資差異上所扮演的角色,而所得之結果亦可作為政府未來制定於執行 相關政策時的參考方針。""Despite a growing literature has investigated the determinants of gender wage differentials, there is still little evidence on the relationship between gender equality law and gender wage differentials. Therefore, we set out in this project to investigate the impacts of gender equality law on the gender wage differentials in Taiwan. We utilize the 1992-2012 Manpower Utilization Survey as the empirical foundation and employ the differences-in-differences-in-differences and difference-in-differences with propensity score matching method for our examination of the policy effects of the gender equality law. Our results are expected to have important implications for the public enforcement of gender equality policy."
