"擬就益生菌建立對水的處理方式，研發大量生產益生菌的模式，同時開發有益微生物產品，以利鰻魚、吳郭魚現場養殖戶低成本而有效的使用。
(1)本研究所選用之益生菌預期可抑制水產生物病原性弧菌的生長，
改善鰻魚與吳郭魚腸道菌相增加養殖生物活存與產量。
(2)利用益生菌降低水產生物受細菌感染之機率，同時避免抗生素的
使用。
(3)利用益生菌降低水質中的有機物質、含氮廢物及其他相關有害物
質。
(4)添加益生菌於鰻魚、吳郭魚池中，以期改善鰻魚、吳郭魚受病原菌感染而大量死亡的問題。" "Aquaculture of small abalone Haliotis divericolor supertexta has a high economic value and a mass production in Taiwan. But it still has several problems in cultural management of small abalone. Therefore, the present study will focus on the management technique and improve the survival rate of small abalone. Microbial probiotic is a term which, in aquaculture, usually refers to a bacterial supplement of a single or mixed culture of selected bacteria. The objective of this study was to evaluate if routine use of probiotic, immuno-stimulatant, could improve water quality and growth at culture of abalone."
