Description

Abstract
"地位是組織群體中的重要特徵,不論對於成員的行為態度,或是對於組織群 體的發展都有很重大的影響。傳統的地位理論,強調社會地位議題的探討,對於 企業組織中地位的形成的研究較為欠缺。另一方面,社會網絡的觀點從不同的網 絡特徵推論組織成員所接觸的社會資訊以及資源交換意涵,而這些意涵對於成員 的組織地位都有相當關鍵的影響,而社會網絡特徵往往又受到組織文化的影響。 因此,本研究嘗試整合性別職場文化、社會網絡特徵、地位知覺三種觀點,以社 會網絡為媒介,探討性別職場文化如何透過社會網絡的形成,影響組織成員的地 位知覺。 本研究擬以海運相關產業為研究對象,透過個人層次與群體層次來衡量性別 職場文化,同時也將地位知覺的概念延伸到地位不一致,建立研究假設,再進行 資料分析與研究假設驗證。希望可以完整解釋企業中的性別職場文化與地位相關 議題,並且能夠建構一個整合性的模式。""Status is one of the most important characteristics of society and organization. In an organization, status may account for organization members’ attitude and behavior, and may have impact on organization’s development. However, traditional status theory seem have their research interest focus on status in society field but business enterprise field. On the other hand, since social network has its implication on individual’s social information and resources available, the characteristics of individual social network also play a critical role on status. While the characteristics of social network are also shaped by organization culture, especially gender related culture. On such circumstance, this work tries to integrate viewpoints of gender culture, social network and status theory, and to develop a framework for exploring the connection among these concepts. This project plans to focus on companies of maritime industry as research object, conducting individual level and group level analysis. Meanwhile, this project will also extend the status concept from status perception to status inconsistency, conduct data collection, model building and hypothesis verification. This project will also be fruitful for unfolding the gender culture and status issue in workplace, and will be able to build a comprehensive causal model. "
