Therefore, the projections of those integer-valued variables should be integers. However, traditional DEA models such as CCR or BCC cannot deal with such situation. Kuosmanen and Kazemi (2009) propose a model which can identify the integer projection for integer-valued variables. However the projection identified might not be integer valued Pareto optimal. Recently, Chen et al. (2015) propose another model which might not be feasible when the projection of a non-integer-valued variable is required to be integer. In this project, we are going to propose a two-stage model to overcome these issues."
