"瞭解台灣特有養殖產業，如：牛蛙、大閘蟹、鱸鰻、筍殼魚及鋼頭鱒的發展現況，並且建立完整養殖現況及方法，再經由現況調查與市場分析提出建議。" "There are five sepceial aquaculture species cultured in Taiwan. They are bull frog, Rana satesbeiana, Marbled eel, Anguilla marmorata, Marble goby, Oxyeleotris marmorata,?Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, and Steelhead trout, Oreochromis mykiss. Bull frog and Marbled eel?are traditional species cultured in Taiwan. However, Chinese mitten crab, Marble goby and Steelhead trout are new aquaculture species cultured recently. The market and culture information of these species have few attention noticed by aquaculture farmers and consumers in Taiwan. Through this investigation and studies, we hope to establish more information concerning these species and set up the information for aquaculture farmers."
