Description

Abstract
Although the Port Authorities in Taiwan generally recognized the importance of innovation and innovation management, none has established formal innovative management procedures. For this, this project tries to continue the results of first year- a green port evaluation indicators. By taking into considerations of stakeholders to establish Green Quality Function Development (GQFD), and with the improved integration of TRIZ methods, this project develops a ""TRIZ innovation principles for green port innovation "". The potential contribution is to offer a mechanism of green port innovation process, and give examples to demo SOP processes. Hope to provide a frame of reference and management tools for decision-making to support the Government and the Port Authority management practices on the development of sustainable innovation strategy in Taiwan. Next year, this research project intends to establish a mini knowledge sharing platform that aims to provide and promote share and exchange mechanism of comprehensive green knowledge. In the long run this platform can create a business model for knowledge intensive business service (KIBS). If the KIBS is involved in the platform for shipping industry and academic circles in the future, it would allow the exchange of industry-academics be processed in more efficient method."
