Description

Abstract
"導流預旋翼的使用目的在於改善後方螺槳的效率與空化現象,然而預旋翼的紊流跡流卻有可能 對螺槳產生負面的效果。以往關於預旋翼跡流之紊流特性的實驗研究甚少,因此本計畫擬使用質點 影像測速法(Particle Image Velocimetry, PIV)測量(1)單獨預旋翼之紊流跡流;(2)單獨螺槳之入流;(3) 預旋翼與螺槳之間的流場,並進行空化拍攝,以探討預旋翼的紊流跡流如何影響螺槳。此實驗數據 可提供給數值模擬作結果比對與數值模式調校之用。" "The purpose of pre-swirl fins is to improve the efficiency and the cavitation situation of the propeller in their downstream. Nevertheless, the turbulent wake of pre-swirl fins is possible to cause negative effects on the propeller. There have been few experimental studies for the characteristics of pre-swirl fins’ turbulent wake. Therefore, this project proposes to perform Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to measure (1) the turbulent wake of lone pre-swirl fins, (2) the inflow to a lone propeller, and (3) the flow fields between pre-swirl fins and a propeller with cavitation imaging, to study how the turbulent wake of pre-swirl fins influences a propeller. The experimental results obtained can be used for comparisons with that of numerical simulations and for numerical model calibrations."
