Description

Abstract
機車事故死、傷人數的比例均較其他運具高,平均死亡人數比例佔59.4%;機車事故受傷人數佔全國交通事故受傷人數比例平均約75.8%,雖然近年來我國交通事故死亡人數逐年減少,機車死傷人數佔全國交通事故死傷人數比例持續增加,顯示機車安全確實值得重視。危險感知是一個發現、辨識與反應危險情況的過程,許多研究結果顯示危險感知能力對於駕駛安全有重要的影響,世界各國均相當重視危險感知能力的訓練,其中英國與澳洲部分的省已將危險感知測試納入駕照考驗制度。本研究擬利用交通部公路總局所發展之機車危險感知教育平台為危險感知測驗工具,以機車考領照民眾為研究對象,運用試題反應理論針對機車危險感知測驗結果進行分析,探討利用該平台與情境影片作為機車危險感知能力測驗工具的可能性,並根據測驗與分析結果,建立受測者基本特性與危險感知能力間之關係模式,了解危險感知能力較不足的族群特性,並研擬未來擴充該平台成為機車考照規定項目,設計危險感知測驗系統的具體建議。Over the past 12 years, the number of fatalities and injuries involved in motorcycle crashes is higher than that of other modes, which accounted for 59.4 % and 75.8% of total traffic crashes, respectively. The casualties caused by motorcycle crashes remain increasing over the years. Therefore, motorcycle safety has been an essential issue in Taiwan.Hazard perception is a process of discovering, identifying and responding to road hazards. Prior studies found that the hazard perception abilities have great influence on traffic safety. The training of improving hazard perception abilities has drawn a lot of attention all over the world. For example, the hazard perception tests become a part of driver licensing system in the UK and some states of Australia. This study aims investigate the hazard perception abilities of novice motorcyclists. The participants are recruited at the licensing agencies when they are taking the motorcycle licensing tests. The motorcyclists’ hazard perception training system is applied to examining the hazard perception abilities of these novice motorcyclists. The current hazard perception training system has thirty video clips under various hazardous situations. The testing results are to be analyzed with the item response theory (IRT) models. The estimates of item parameters (including item difficulty and discrimination indices) and participants’ perception ability parameters derived from the IRT models will help to sketch the scheme of a comprehensive hazard perception testing system and to realize the influence factors of latent abilities of hazard perception.
