Abstract
"美國自從 1992 年宣布 Open Skies Policies 以來,至今已與全世界超過一百個國家簽署此 相當自由的航空服務協議;不僅如此,2008 年時美國更對南韓民眾提出赴美免簽計畫,此政 策實行至今已促使南韓至美國的運量成長 35%。在去年,美國也對台灣民眾提出赴美免簽計 畫,預估此政策將促使台灣至美國的運量成長 12%,加上美國將相繼對東南亞國家提出免簽計 畫,間接使得台灣至美國的航空市場更趨活絡。由於目前韓國的大韓航空公司由仁川至美國的 直飛航點多達十個,且日本的全日空航空公司直飛美國的航點也有八個,但我二家國籍航空公 司直飛美國的航點卻不超過五個;因此,為因應日漸成長的美國線運量,加上二家國籍航空公 司都已分別加入不同的航空策略聯盟,因此本研究將利用 IATA database,先整理出台美線現況 各點的 OD 運量(包括直飛及轉機)、票價收入及二家航空公司各點的市場佔有率,再透過運量 需求預測、本研究所建立之航點評選模式,及機型、班次、共用班號的研擬,以最大收益比為 目標,分析出二家國籍航空公司台美線最適航點及營運策略,研究結果將可供二家國籍航空公 司航線規劃及機隊購買之參考。""It’s more than two decades since the US has signed the first Open Skies agreement in the Asia Pacific. To effectuate its free-market policy, the US contended that market forces, rather than an international regulatory body, should determine capacity, frequency and fares for transcontinental routes. So far, there are more than 100 countries have signed the open skies agreements with the US. In Asia Pacific, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Japan and China all have signed the agreements. Moreover, the US announced the visa waiver plan for the South Korea passengers in 2008. After the policy implemented, the traffic between South Korea to the US increased 35%. Last year, the US also announced the visa waiver policy for the Taiwanese passengers. It predicted that the traffic will increase 12%. It believes that the US will provide the favor to the Southeast Asia countries as well. As lots of passengers from Southeast Asia travel to the US visa Taiwan, the demand forecast between Taiwan and the US is optimistic. In the meantime, the Korea flag carrier, Korean Airlines, fly from Seoul to ten US destinations directly. ANA, the Japanese carrier, also fly from Japan to eight US destinations directly. However, the two Taiwanese carriers, China airlines and EVA Airways, fly from Taiwan to no more than five destinations in the US. Since the China airlines has joined the Skyteam alliances and EVA Airways joined the Star alliances respectively. These two carriers could cooperate with their Asian alliances partners to fly from Taiwan to more US cities by codeshare. Therefore, this research starts with OD and fare analysis of TPE-US routes by applying IATA database. Market share of different airlines will also be found. It goes on to forecast demand of TPE-US routes. It will further suggest the direct flights for two Taiwanese carriers by constructing the destination selection model. Fleet, frequency or codeshare will also be analyzed. Finally, the operation strategies for Taiwanese carriers fly from Taipei to the US will be suggested. The research results are expected to contribute strategic planning to national airlines. "
