本研究將進行海鱺細菌性疾病之研究。對養殖海鱺細菌性病源做持續性之分離培養及鑑定。將分離自罹病海鱺之巴斯德菌(Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida)以添加不同成分之培養基作培養，探討其毒力及筴膜生成能力，並做磷脂分解酵素之部分純化及毒性試驗，以確認其在致病方面扮演的角色。本研究成果將有助於有效疫苗之研發及疾病之控制。 The present study will survey the bacterial diseases in cultured cobia by continous isolation of bacteria from cultured cobia. Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicidaisolated from diseased cobia will be cultured on different media for virulence tests and observation of capsular presence. The extracellular phospholipase will be partially purified to determine its role playing in the pathogenesis. The results will be useful for further vaccine development and disease control.
