過去12年我們已在59所中學、5所大學、9個資優生研習營、全國燈會、及基隆火車站舉辦物理演示教學及動手做活動。我們也已為弱勢及原住民學生舉辦26場科學營，主持3場物理教師工作坊，並在科普角發表創新演示教具。我們行腳偏鄉，深入部落，前進離島，足跡遍佈台澎金馬。媒體34次大幅報導我們的活動。我們也製作了80部物理演示教學影片置於科技部科技大觀園網站，逾一百六十萬人次觀賞。多年下鄉的經驗讓我們有機會瞭解偏鄉離島弱勢孩子的學習困難。我們設計了生動活潑、深入淺出的教材，也與偏鄉離島學校及社福團體建立了緊密合作的關係。107學年度我們將把影片中的教具搬到4所花東中學及2所離島中學舉辦物理演示教學及動手做活動。我們將增加許多新的演示，例如聲波碎酒杯、地震儀、電流鎔鐵釘、電流鎔銅片等。此外，我們將為博幼基金會、家扶基金會、及愛心第二春基金會關懷的弱勢學生舉辦2場科學營及1場地震儀自製營。我們也將踏出新的一步。我們將與麥當勞叔叔之家合作，為重症學童舉辦一次科學闖關及親子動手玩科學活動。為了與更多學子及社會大眾分享物理之美，我們將繼續製作12部物理演示教學影片置於科技部科技大觀園網站。本計畫僅編列舉辦10次活動及製作12部影片所需最基本經費569906元(含管理費)，每一塊錢都用在花東離島弱勢及重症學生身上。我們要讓知識不再是商品，讓貧窮不再是世襲。我們要讓偏鄉離島的學生也有公平競爭的機會，讓弱勢重症的孩子也能用知識帶希望回家。 We have perform physics demonstrations in 59 high schools, 5 Universities, 9 science clubs for gifted and talented students. We also organized 26 science clubs for underprivileged students of elementary school. In addition, we have produced 80 videos and placed them in the websites of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In this project, we will perform physics demonstrations in 4 high schools in Eastern Taiwan and 2 high schools in the off-shore islands. In addition, we will organize 4 science clubs for underprivileged and seriously ill students of elementary school. Moreover, we will produce 12 videos and place them in the websites of the Ministry of Science and Technology. With proper support, the project is viable and will help students from underprivileged families learn physics.
