Description

Abstract
Somatolactin was the first found in the pars intermedia of the pituitary in flounder, Atlantic cod and chm salmon in 1990-1991. Somatolactin is considered as a glycoprotein on protein in which has an important function in the environmental stress adaptation, reproduction, energy balance, background adaptation, and ionic balance. The exact function in animals was still not clear. The main objectives were to investigate the nelationship of somatolactin gene and protein expression during environmental stress in black porgy. The possible enhancement of the capability on the environmental adaptation in marine fish will be also studied.
