Description

Abstract
"To establish a national Taiwan ocean energy test site is quite critical on development of self-owned technology. It is also important on providing with international certificating services to Asia-Pacific countries. It is proposed to carry out the feasibility study on establishing one current test station and two wave test stations and their associated auxiliary facilities in 10 months. For present proposal, there shall be 7 tasks including setting-up of international design guidelines, evaluation of oceanographic & meteorological data monitoring station, investigation of environmental and ecological conditions, evaluation of test sites, efficiency evaluation, evaluation of test stations and evaluation of power/signal cables."
