Description

Abstract
本年度目標本年度之目標為針對自美國進口以黃豆油為原料製造之生化柴油, 一種有助燃效果之柴油添加劑, 及一種清潔噴嘴積垢作用之添加劑進行試驗.( 1 )以不同比例之生化柴油與漁船用油混合, 或漁船用油摻配不同含量及種類之添加劑, 觀測其油品特性; ( 2 )使用馬力試驗機, 測試研究使用不同生化柴油/船用柴油比例或使用不同添加量之柴油添加劑, 對於柴油機耗油率、性能, 和各項廢氣排氣之影響; ( 3 )實船測試探討使用20%比例生化柴油或使用適當添加量之柴油添加劑, 研究對於船用引擎在維修與保養方面之影響; 重要工作項目A.油品特性觀測針對添加不同比例生化柴油或不同添加量柴油添加劑之燃油之均質性及安定性, 並觀測油品黏度、比重、熱值、PH值、十六烷值、C及H含量等油品特性.B.引擎實驗室試驗部分( 1 )探討不同比例生化柴油或柴油添加劑與柴油混合時, 柴油機之冷啟動特性.( 2 )探討在生化柴油或柴油添加劑與柴油不同比例混合, 且柴油機在固定轉速下運轉時, 對於柴油機之性能、耗油率、粒狀污染物與排氣污染的影響.( 3 )探討生化柴油或柴油添加劑與柴油以特定比例混合時, 柴油機在不同轉速與負載下, 柴油機耗油率、粒狀污染物與排氣污染的變化.( 4 )分析探討使用不同比例生化柴油或柴油添加劑與柴油混合時, 柴油機噴射正時是否需要進行調整.C.實船測試部分接洽聯繫若干近海漁船配合進行試驗.並設計調查問卷進行漁船用油添加生化柴油或柴油添加劑後之使用狀況調查.探討重點包括: ( 1 )冷機啟動排煙管廢氣是否異常; ( 2 )主機或電機是否輸出不穩定; ( 3 )長時間使用後, 柴油機噴嘴是否積碳或產生吹噓現象; ( 4 )長時間使用後, 潤滑油是否變黏稠或產生膠凝化作用; ( 5 )燃油油櫃是否產生分離成層現象; ( 6 )長時間使用後, 柴油機維修時是否有異常現象.預期效益 ( 1 )可瞭解生化柴油與柴油添加劑應用於漁船時, 對於柴油機性能、耗油率、粒狀污染物與排氣污染的改善程度.( 2 )可瞭解生化柴油與柴油添加劑應用於漁船時, 燃油乳化安定性、冷啟動特性之改變.( 3 )可瞭解生化柴油與柴油添加劑應用於漁船時, 長時間使用後在維修與保養方面之可能問題.( 4 )可作為未來修訂漁業用油補貼政策之參考.( 5 )可提供參予研究人員對於環境、漁船之了解, 並訓練其研究分析之能力. Goals of this yearThe goals of this year is to proceed tests for one kind of biodiesel fuel, which is imported from U.S.and manufactured with soybean oil as raw material, one fuel additive with combustion-enhancing effects, and one fuel additive with nozzle self-cleaning effects.( 1 )Mixing with different proportions of biodiesel fuel, or adding different amount and type of fuel additive, to measure and observe the characteristics of the mixed fuel with ordinary fishing fuel; ( 2 )To proceed tests on an engine dynamometer to study on the effects of performance, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions for a marine diesel engine using different proportions of biodiesel fuel, or adding different amount of fuel additives; ( 3 )To proceed tests on fishing boats to study the potential service and maintenance problems for using 20%proportion of biodiesel fuel or adding appropriate amount of fuel additives.Important items of work A.Measurements and observations of fuel characteristics to observe the homogeneity and the tranquility of fuel mixed with different proportions of biodiesel fuel or added with different amounts of fuel additives.To measure the fuel characteristics like viscosity, specific weight, heating value, PH value, cetane number, and the C and H contents of mixed fuel.B.Engine dynamometer testing ( 1 )To study the cold-starting characteristics for a diesel engine fueled with different proportions of biodiesel fuel or different amounts of fuel additives; ( 2 )To study the effects of performance, fuel consumption, PM and exhaust emissions for a marine diesel engine operating on fixed speed, but using different proportions of biodiesel fuel, or adding different amount of fuel additives; ( 3 )To study the effects of performance, fuel consumption, PM and exhaust emissions for a marine diesel engine operating on different speeds and loads, but using a fixed proportion of biodiesel fuel, or adding a fixed amount of fuel additives; ( 4 )To study whether the injection timing need to be adjusted for a diesel engine fueled with different proportions of biodiesel fuel or different amounts of fuel additives.C.Tests on fishing boatsTo inquire several fishing boats to proceed tests by using a certain proportion of biodiesel fuel or adding a certain amount of fuel additive.To interrogate and investigate the effects on engines after practically using biodiesel fuel or fuel additives.The points of interests include: ( 1 )Possible unusual exhaust emissions during cold-starting stage; ( 2 )Possible unstable output of diesel engine; ( 3 )Possible nozzle coking or trumpeting after extensive engine operations; ( 4 )Possibly becoming sticky for lubricating oil after extensive engine operations; ( 5 )Possible occurrence of layered separation in fuel cabinet; ( 6 )Other unusualness observed during engine service or maintenance.Benefits anticipated ( 1 )To understand the effects of performance, fuel consumption, PM and exhaust emissions for a marine diesel engine applying biodiesel fuel, or fuel additive; ( 2 )To understand the effects of fuel homogeneity and tranquility, as well as the change of cold-starting characteristics for a marine diesel engine using biodiesel fuel or fuel additives; ( 3 )To understand the potential service and maintenance problems for extensive usuage of biodiesel fuel or fuel additives on fishing boats; ( 4 )To provide as a reference for future amendment of subsidy policy for fishing fuel; ( 5 )To provide the researchers an all-around understanding on fishing boats, environment, as well as a training for the ability of studying and analyzing.
