本年度計畫擬使用二甲醚與生質柴油替代燃料，對於柴油機之性能與廢氣排放進行研究。在二甲醚方面，擬藉由修改噴油泵與噴油嘴，增加二甲醚之供油量，使引擎輸出扭力與原柴油機相當。並將調整二甲醚之噴油參數，測試研究對柴油機性能與NOx廢氣排放影響。在生質柴油方面，擬使用純大豆油甲酯B100及大豆油甲酯與石化柴油混合之B20進行測試，研究在不同負載與轉速下，對於柴油機耗油率與廢氣排放之影響。 It is intended in this project, by using dimethyl ether (DME) and biodiesel as alternative fuel, to study on the effects on the performance and exhaust emissions of a diesel engine. The injection pump and injector will be modified to increase the fuel flow rate of DME so that the engine may obtain an equivalent amount of brake torque as burning diesel fuel. It will also be studied experimentally on the effects of DME injection parameters on engine performance and NOx emissions. As for biodiesel, tests will be performed for soybean oil methyl ester B100 and B20, to study the engine fuel consumption and exhaust emissions under different loads and speeds.
