Abstract
本實驗室曾探討水產飼料中之油脂品質和 抗佯化劑含量,得知水產飼料中之主要抗氧化 劑為BHT(Butylated hydroxytoluene),殘留量為2.4-34.2ppm; 水產飼料中之POV(Peroxide value)為1.5-24.7meq/kg,TBA( Thiobarbituric acid)值為12.2-31.1mg/kg,AV(Acid value)為12.4-40.1mg/kg.顯示水產飼料中之油脂含有多量之 脂質過氧化物.脂質過氧化物對魚類之毒性作 用,據報告指出,在高量過氧化脂質(POV大於100) 下,易引起肝病變、肌肉萎縮及瘦背肌症"Sekoke disease",最後導致魚體死亡.另本研究室曾探討 抗氧化劑添加入水產飼料中,對魚體成長雖無 不良影響,但會造成肝肥大現象.為知一般水產 飼料中脂質過氧化物含量和BHT對魚體之成長和 生理之影響,乃以鯉魚為試驗魚種,以不同含量之氧化油和BHT配合之有無來調配七組飼料,每 兩週量魚體重和肝體重,預定飼養12週,最後除 量魚體重和肝重外,並測量肝臟中之TBA值、 glutathione含量和過氧化酵素活性,以及製作肝臟 和肌肉之組織切片,以了解低量脂質過氧化物 和BHT對鯉魚成長和生理之影響,而作為改善國 內水產飼料品質之依據.The combined effect of oxidized oil and BHT on the common carp was further examined. The common carp were treated with POV 29.2-88.8 meq/kg oxidized oil and 200ppm BHT in their diet for 12 weeks. The growth rate and glutathione were found to significantly decreased when common carp were fed a diet with supplements of oxidized oil and 200ppm BHT. The peroxidase activity was found to significantly increased when common carp were fed a diet with supplement of oxidized oil. BHT could inhibit peroxidase activity which was induced by oxidized oil. The symptoms of hepatopancreas enlargement were also found in the fish fed diet with supplement of either oxidized oil or oxidized oil and BHT. However, these symptoms only fed diet with supplement of oxidized oil were also alleviated when the fish were switched to the basal diet. But the enlargement of hepatopancreas was not found to recover in the fish fed the diet with supplement of oxidized oil and BHT. The pathological symptoms in the hepatopancreas induced by oxidized oil and BHT were the same as those induced by oxidized oil only. The pathological symptoms in the muscle induced by either oxidized oil or oxidized oil and BHT were observed to have degeneration and necrosis of skeletal muscle fibers, proliferation of connective tissue and appearance of ceroid-laden macrophages in the stroma.
