Description

Abstract
"承繼過去兩年已完成之亞洲氣候與環境變遷研究,包含內蒙西部居延海地區全新世 大暖期以來之氣候變化,與目前正在進行台灣蘭陽平原梅花湖岩心沉積物研究,因而此 計劃將繼續進行台灣宜蘭地區之湖泊沉積物研究,主要包含目前正在進行的梅花湖與未 來即將進行之大湖岩芯。依據目前岩芯紀錄開採發現在2300 至1300 年前蘭陽地區緊鄰 溪流的區域之湖泊岩芯皆可發現沉積環境之突變,並且由過去蘭陽溪上游之沖積扇發生 時間之定年結果與考古人類學研究發現之古文明斷層時間皆相當吻合,因此本研究將針 對蘭陽地區之湖泊沉積物與結合地質調查所在蘭陽平原已經擁有的岩心紀錄,進行比 對。分析方法包括沉積物之粒徑分析、黏土礦物種類與半定量分析、主要元素與微量元 素分析等。目前已有各專長研究學者加入研究團隊,未來研究成果可結合古地磁、有機 質之C/N 比、C 同位素、花粉、地下電阻探勘等研究群進行比對。未來希望共同合作的 成果可以推測1 萬年以來此區之氣候與沉積環境變化因子,並釐清是否有地震構造活動 作用造成沉積環境上的變化。" "Follwing with the last two year researches of Asia climate and environment variations in Juyunhai region of western Inner Mongolia, which covered the climate variation after the Megathermal period in the Holocene, we are proceeding the investigation of core sediments from the Meihwa Lake in Ilan Plain now. Therefore, this project will follow the research of lake sediments in the Ilan Plain, which mainly includes the recent Maihwa Lake and the further Dahu lake cores. According the recent core records, we discovered the sedimentary environment changes abruptly near the river drainage area in the Ilain Plain during 2300 yr BP to 1300 yr BP, and this episode coincided with the dating of alluvial fans widespreadly occurring on the upper Lanyan River and happened at the same time with the archaeological culture fault. So, this project will be focused on the correlation between the core sediments in the lakes and the core records of Central Geological Survey in the Ilan Plain. The analytic methods include particle analyses, identification of clay minerals and mineral semi-quantification, major and rare elementary analyses of the core sediments. Recently, we have different specialists to join the cooperation works, and the results can combine with the research groups of paleomagnetism, organic ratios of C/N, isotope of carbon, pollen, and the electric resistance underground. In the future, we hope the cooperation results may infer the climate and environment variation factors since 10 ka, and whether the seismic activity caused the sedimentary environment change in this area."
