Description

Abstract
"當溫降時發生時冷水被抬升至表層,雖然緊接著漲潮潮流會將被抬升 的一部份冷水帶走,但仍然有一部份冷水或大部份冷水被留在灣內,經過 大潮期間連續幾天溫度突降,使得整體南灣平均水溫大幅降低。也就是說 南灣灣內之水團特性已經完全改變,當然整個南灣海域之營養鹽特性也會 隨之改變。在海研三號1267 航次之CTD 採樣中,結果顯示西半部冷水抬升 相當強烈,但東半部的測站顯示其冷水抬升並不明顯,這與上次採樣結果 並不一致,而且東部的E 測站可以看到較高溫度,這種情形可能與黑潮入 侵有關,研究顯示氣旋渦漩發生的時間在前,而反氣旋渦漩發生的時間在 後,而東部的E 測站連續溫度剖面與上次採樣結果並不一致情形,顯示冷 水抬升可能與季節性有關或與當地的風場有關" "Although the sequential flood currents may carry away the upwelling cold waters when sizeable temperature sudden drop occurs, still there are some cold waters upwelled from the bottom layer to be left in Nan Wan Bay. The mean temperature of the Nan Wan waters is quite low due to temperature sudden drops with the last few days. Namely, the water mass property of the Nan Wan Bay had been changed, and the nutrient features of waters were also changed following water mass. In the CTD sampling of R/V no III, cruise 1267, in Nan Wan Bay, the results showed that the cold water upwelling was very intensive in the western part of the Nan Wan Bay but it was not revealed for the anticyclonic eddy in the eastern part. The features showed that it is no consistent with the last time survey and that the water temperature of upper layer at E station is higher than the west station’s. The status could be related with the intrusion of the Kuroshio. The study shows that the appearance of the cyclonic eddy is prior to the anticyclonic eddy. Concerning the not consistent with the last time survey at E station, it showed that the cold water upwelling could be related to seasonal variations or wind stress locally."
