Description

Abstract
"一個西北太平洋解析度1/6o 度的三海(東海,黃海及渤海)系統模式,被使用來研究 長江水量減少時對東海及周邊海域海洋水體環流的可能衝擊。對於可利用性的延伸, 物理環流模式大部份是由月平均風場及流量進/出並且透過模式開口邊界來驅動模式。 依據季節的改變,夏季時長江的水舌擴散分佈在長江口的東北方,冬季時將隨著中國 沿岸流(China Coastal Current)到南方。三海模式也曾經提供給生地化模式去研究東海的 生態問題,經過與實測資料比較,物理模式結果顯示夏季時長江的水舌擴散分佈在長 江口的東北方,但由實測資料顯示長江的水舌擴散分佈是時常往東或偶爾往南。模式 結果顯示長江的水舌分佈較實測資料偏北,但模式加入潮汐之後長江的水舌擴散分佈 偏南,這種情況與實測資料較符合。而長江的水舌擴散分佈偏南主要是受到潮汐餘流 的驅動,在研究長江的水舌擴散時發現長江口南方的潮汐餘流顯示有季節性變化,理 論上,冬、夏潮汐結構相同的情況下應該相同,但為何會顯示有季節性變化,這也是 本研究的目的。" "A three-sea system model of the northwestern Pacific Ocean with 1/6o resolution is used to investigate possible effects of reduced Yangtze River discharge on the circulation of surrounding seas. To the extent of data availability, the model is mostly driven by monthly climatological winds and inflows/outflows through open-ocean boundaries. With climatological discharge rate, the Yangtze River plume disperses to the northeast in summer but follows the China Coastal Current (CCC) to the south in winter. And, the model also provides a base for developing the biogeochemical studies of the East China Sea. By comparison, the Yangtze River plume disperses to the northeast from its mouth in summer time, but the observations show that the plume range extends usually to the east or occasionally to the south. Conceivably, the plume position of the ECS model is prominent deflecting to the north than the observed data. Then, the Yangtze River plumes are deflecting to the south, when the tidal force is added to the model. The situation, the plumes deflecting to the south, is more corresponding to the observed data. Leading to the behavior of Yangtze River plumes being deflected to south, the tidal residual current is the major force. And we found that the tidal residual currents are to have the seasonal variations in the study. In theory, the same constituents of tidal force should have similar performance in summer and winter, but they are different. This is our concerned issue of the study."
