本研究將蒐集以花蓮及台東為基地作業漁船標本船之作業資料，並進一步分析台灣東部海域主要漁業之鮪旗魚類漁獲效益。本研究之重點也將著重於台灣東部海域刺網漁業與延繩釣漁業之作業特性，並分析其歷年之漁業生態指標之變動趨勢。此外，此本研究也擬同時進行台灣東部海域鯨豚混獲情形的調查，並嘗試根據本研究之調查結果估算台灣東部海域鯨豚之混獲率或混獲量。 This study will collect the fishery data from sample vessels that based in Hualian and Taitung and analyze the fishing efficiency of tuna and billfish in the eastern waters of Taiwan. This study will focus on the fishing characters of gillnet and longline fisheries in the eastern waters of Taiwan and analyze the historical trends of ecological indicators for these fisheries. In addition, this study will investigate the bycatch of dolphins in the eastern waters of Taiwan and attempt to estimate their bycath rate or amount.
