本研究將針對以下項目進行：(1)針對全台各地定置網、鏢刺及刺網漁業從業人員進行鯨鯊誤捕情形的掌握；(2)前往各定置網量測記錄遭誤捕之鯨鯊並進行野放；(3)進行遭誤捕鯨鯊之年齡結構及性別組成分析研究。 The objectives of this study are: (1) investigate incidental catch number of whale sharks caught/observed by set nets, harpoons, and gill nets fisheries; (2) measure, record, and release incidental catch whale shark; and (3) analyze age structure and sex ratio for incidental catch of the whale shark.
