本計畫是結合光動力、光熱、磁熱與化療治療及溫度控制釋放的藥物傳遞系統，藉由光熱或磁熱特性的奈米粒子標靶出癌組織後接著照射光源或交變磁場，即能在局部產生高溫，使癌細胞凋亡，並且在治療過程中所產生的溫度變化將被利用於溫度控制釋放藥物系統。推展綠色化學的觀念，因此使用矽藻土當作奈米藥物載體的材料，最後想藉由結合治療的方法、溫度控制釋放及源自於海洋產物的優勢，期望在生醫載體這個領域的研究中可以有所突破，減少不必要之資源損耗，達到實質上資源的利用。
