本計畫之目的在於建立一個行動資訊服務環境。在此環境中使用者可以在任何時間、地點擷取或瀏覽各式資訊,並可以執行一個交易處理特性的工作流程。計畫中將探討複製資料的一致性、查詢處理與各種安全考慮的技術。並提出追蹤、控制及管理各式網路精靈與建構無線通訊協定架構的技術。我們所探討的技術皆可應用於這個環境中,以完成一個方便而又具高效能、高安全特質的行動資訊服務系統。 The purpose of this integrated project is to construct a ubiquitous information service environment. In this environment, users can retrieve data, browse data, and submit a workflow with transaction characteristics at anywhere and anytime. In this project, we will study the techniques about the consistency of data replication, query processing and network security. Also, the techniques about the search, control and management of the agents and the construction of wireless network protocol are developed. All of these techniques will be applied on the design of a ubiquitous information service system.
