Description

Abstract
在前一年度的計畫中,我們探討了協議相關問題於車間通訊模式之車載隨意網路,藉此提供 容錯能力於車間通訊模式之車載隨意網路。在本計畫書中,我們將進一步地探討以下3 項議題於 車載隨意網路之中。議題1:車路通訊容錯協議演算法; 議題2:車間通訊與車路通訊之即時容 錯協議演算法;議題3:車載隨意網路之故障裝置隔離機制。在議題1 中,我們將在車路通訊模 式下,探討當車載網路內的車上裝置或路側裝置發生拜占庭故障時,解決拜占庭協議問題、互動 一致性問題以及合議問題的方法。在議題2 中,我們將分別針對車間通訊模式及車路通訊模式之 車載網路設計提早停止訊息交換的機制,藉此判斷是否收集到足夠的訊息,進而減少演算法執行 時間及訊息交換量。並利用這兩個機制設計出車間通訊與車路通訊之即時容錯協議演算法。在議 題3 中,我們將探討故障裝置之偵測規則,然後再利用此偵測規則設計出車載隨意網路之故障裝 置隔離機制。現今許多的智慧型運輸系統應用皆需運作在一個具備高度可靠的車載隨意網路之 上。因此對於車載隨意網路中之協議相關問題有其被探討之必要性。在時程方面,本計畫預計以 兩年的時間來解決上述之問題。 In the previous project, we addressed the agreement-related problems with Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication to provide fault tolerance capability in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). In this project, we attempt to visit the following three issues in VANETs: (1) agreement-related problems with Vehicle-to-Roadside (V2R) communication in VANETs; (2) early stopping agreement problem with V2V communication and early stopping agreement problem with V2R communication in VANETs; (3) the isolation mechanism of faulty units in VANETs. In addressing the first issue, we will investigate how to solve the BA problem, the IC problem, and the consensus problem in the event of Byzantine fault of On-Board Units (OBUs) or Road-Side Units (RSUs) with V2R communication in VANETs. In the second issue, we will design early stopping mechanisms for message exchange in V2V and V2R communications in VANETs respectively. This mechanism can reduce the execution time of the algorithm and the amount of messages exchanged by detecting if enough messages have been collected. Later, based on these two mechanism, we will develop early stopping algorithms for V2V and V2R communications in VANETs. In the third issue, we will discuss faulty device detection rules and use these rules to design an isolation mechanism in VANETs. In nowadays, many Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are applied in highly reliable VANETs. Therefore, there is such necessity to discuss agreement-related problems with V2V communication and V2R communication in VANETs. According to our plan, this project is expected to take two years to complete.
