本計畫擬在我國《文化資產保護法》及其衍伸的法規命令之基礎上，度以「海洋文化」為視角，分析台灣北部地區文化資產場址如何見證海洋演進的文化，並就未來規劃層面，先行篩選目前雖未列冊但具有潛力的海洋文化資產項目，從而朝向國家文化發展的主軸方向，繼則落實執行保護文化資產的核心政策。職是本研究的具體成果，除能提供相關部會作為擬定海洋文化政策的參考外，兼得以加強國人對前開文化資產保護議題的了解與尊重，逐步提昇彼此的共情能力，進而促成文化永續傳承的歸屬感與使命感，是所至禱。This research aims to analyze the status of cultural property that witness the evolution of ocean culture in northern Taiwan, based upon Taiwan’s "Cultural Heritage Preservation Act", relevant rules and maritime history. The research will also identify potential maritime cultural property that are not inscribed in the list of the Ministry of Culture (Taiwan), which serve as the foundation for future plans. Observations from this study can help policy makers in implementing, managing, and promoting the protection of maritime cultural property. In addition to help policy makers to better understand policy objectives, the study can also help to make the Taiwanese people understand and respect the importance of the identification, protection and preservation of maritime cultural property.
