Description

Abstract
This three-year research project is mainly based on our previous research results “organic materials and optoelectronic devices” to explore and understand the physical mechanism of near-infrared organic molecular materials. In the emerging research and application field, there are still some problems in the near-infrared organic light-emitting devices (NIR OLED) that need to be further studied. The research can be roughly divided into four main topics: (1) Explore the characteristics of near-infrared organic molecular materials, including: fluorescence, phosphorescence, thermally activated delayed fluorescence, and exciplex. (2) Clarify the energy transfer mechanisms in near-infrared emission by time-resolved PL. (3) Analyze the horizontal dipole ratio of the light-emitting layer by measuring and simulating the angle dependent PL spectra. (4) Study the magnetic field effect in organic light-emitting diodes. We will systematically study the physical properties of these NIR molecules and establish a more clear chemical structure-physical property-device performance relationship. We will also explore these new NIR molecules as active materials for OLED applications. 這為期三年的研究計畫主要是建立在我們先前有關“有機分子材料特性探討、有機光電元件之研製與量測分析"其研究成果基礎上,探索並且深入了解關於近紅外有機分子材料的光物理性質及元件特性。處於新興的研究應用領域,近紅外有機發光元件(NIR OLED)也還存在一些問題有待進一步研究。研究大致可分為四大主軸: (1)近紅外有機分子材料特性探討,包括: 螢光、磷光、熱活化延遲螢光、激發複合體。(2)透過近紅外光譜進行時間解析內部能量轉移。(3) 利用變角度PL光譜的測量和模擬,分析發光層的水平傳輸偶極比。(4)研究磁場作用下的有機電致發光 (MEL)。透過各種材料分析數據,建立一個更完整分子結構/物理特性/元件效能間的具體關聯性。並將進一步評估其在近紅外有機發光的應用潛力。
