Abstract
近年學術學者們積極推廣STEM教育,學生體會STEM教育思考如何動手實作,培養學生的實務創意、解決問題、運算思維等能力。本計畫運用STEM知識與程式教育開發STEM程式課程教材,探討程式教學系統與問題導向學習方法融入STEM程式課程對學生的系統使用感受、STEM學習感受、學習成效及學習行為之影響。本計畫規劃三年期,第一年與STEM程式課程老師設計課程教材,探討使用課堂教學策略與現有程式教學系統進行課程實驗活動,得知學生對STEM知識與程式教育的結合與學習成效。第二年與課程老師設計問題導向學習的教學策略,探討使用不同教學策略與現有程式教學系統對學生的系統使用感受、STEM學習感受、學習成效及學習行為有何差異。第三年開發LINE輔助程式教學系統來改善現有程式教學系統互動不足的問題,探討三次實驗活動使用不同教學策略與不同程式教學系統對學生的系統使用感受、STEM學習感受、學習成效以及學習行為有何差異。最後,我們會舉辦其他學校課程工作坊實驗活動,擴大樣本數進行現場教學實驗活動來突顯本計畫研究效益。重點主題:新興人機互動與數位科技於技術教育與工程教育的應用 (重點代號:405。)In recent years, domestic and international scholars have actively promoted STEM education and developed STEM courses regrading Science, Technology, Engineering and Math so as to cultivate students to have abilities of doing interdisciplinary learning, creative coding, and working out problems. The project aims at applying the STEM coding education concepts to develop the learning materials of computer programming courses. The utilization of the programming teaching system and the problem-based learning approach improve the learning performance of STEM coding education. The project will be an important topic in Applied Science Education. In a case study of STEM coding education, we want to explore effects of programming teaching system with problem-based learning approach on students' perception of usage, STEM learning perceptions, learning performance and learning behaviors. The project is divided into three years. In the first year, we sketch STEM programming courses in the university. In the experiment, the participants of the project are freshman. We design the learning materials for the STEM coding materials and conduct the demonstration, implement of the STEM programming course and the revision of the learning materials. In the second year, we will develop the programming teaching system with problem-based learning approach for the STEM coding course and conduct the experimental course, review and revision of the system and our instructional strategies. In the third year, we will improve defects and flaws in the programming teaching system with problem-based learning approach, according to the experimental results over the past two years and discuss the varieties of students’ perception of usage, STEM learning perceptions, learning performance, and learning behaviors. The project will develop teaching materials of STEM coding courses tailored to non-computer science students, and we explore how the programming teaching system with problem-based learning approach affects students’ perception of usage, STEM learning perceptions, learning outcomes, and learning behaviors. At last, we develop the programming teaching system with problem-based learning approach in STEM coding education can be more popular and widespread.
