Description

Abstract
數學是科學教育上重要的基石。過去老師在數學課程上教導基礎幾何圖形數學概念採用課本教材進行教學,這樣課本教材可能會造成學生的學習成效不佳。隨著新興科技與人機互動已普及於校園,虛擬實境科技能增強幾何圖形的感官體驗,有效促進學生沉浸式學習幾何圖形數學概念與知識。本計畫運用虛擬實境技術實現幾何圖形數學課程教材的虛擬感官體驗,學生能依據自己步調來學習幾何圖形知識概念,動手操作虛擬實境物件進而理解幾何圖形知識結構。本計畫實驗對象為北部某所高中的學生。本計畫運用虛擬實境技術進行開發虛擬實境數學評量系統,接著運用虛擬實境數學評量系統實現幾何圖型教材教具。老師使用虛擬實境數學評量系統製作三角錐體積=1/3的角柱體積、圓錐體計算、三角形重心推導等虛擬實境3D頭盔與APP的學習單任務,學生透過課程實驗活動進行學習單任務。實驗活動中,學生能實際接觸幾何圖形數學虛擬實境數位教材,學生動手完成三角錐體積、圓錐體計算、三角形重心推導等學習單任務,讓學生學習數學變得更有趣味且不易放棄。本計畫將規劃在高中數學課程實驗活動,探討學生沉浸式學習幾何圖形數學課程上可能性變化,而使用虛擬實境數學評量系統對學生的學習動機與學習成效有何影響。 Mathematics is an essential cornerstone of science education. In the past, teachers deliver basic geometry courses with textbooks, which tends to result in poor learning performance of students. With emerging digital technologies being common in campuses, Virtual Reality technologies can strengthen sensory experiences of geometry and facilitate immersive learning of geometry concepts. The project applies Virtual Reality technologies so as to realize sensory experience of geometry in textbooks, students can learn according to their own abilities, operate Virtual Reality objects then understand geometry concepts. The experimental participants of the project are students of a senior high school in Northern Taiwan. The project develops Virtual Reality Math Assessment System with Virtual Reality technologies and apply Virtual Reality technologies to high school math courses so as to create digital teaching aids and learning objects of geometry. Teachers make virtual worksheets about volume of a triangular pyramid=1/3 volume of triangular prism, calculus of volume of the cone, derivation of the centroid of the triangle and so on with Virtual Reality Math Assessment System, and help students finish the worksheets through class activities. The students operate digital learning objects of geometry with Virtual Reality Math Assessment System and finish the worksheets, which makes learning math more interesting. The project aims at approaching to the varied possibility of students with different ability levels to do Immersive Learning and how Virtual Reality Math Assessment System has effect on learning motivations and learning performance of students.
