Description

Abstract
在強調安全與生活品質的現代社會,封閉式的社區逐漸成為新興的生活聚落,如封 閉型山莊、老人養生村、集合式農村等。在本提案中,我們延伸「Eco-House」的研發 成果,提出「Eco-Community」的理念,以建構一個具有生態意涵的智慧型社區。另外, 我們也將感測器網路的使用,延伸至網路的虛擬世界中,以開展創新的應用。 本整合型計畫分為四個子計畫。子計畫一目的是在Google Earth 上建構一個兼具虛 境與實境的無線感測網路監測與控制的社區平台,提供建築物樓層及社區佈局的3D 情 境,是一具有高效能且可靠的平台,方便感測資料的呈現,同時也是社區設施控制的介 面。 子計畫二目的是著重在展示創新的互動式智慧型社區應用,結合底層平台來提供安 全、便利及人性化的社群生活環境。主要研究課題可分為兩大類:(1)以人為本的服務, 如節能舒適的居家環境、便利的社交網絡及便利的生活資訊;(2)社區管理服務系統,如 社區人員及車輛追蹤系統、公共設施耗能管理及公共場所的使用管理。 子計畫三目的主要是加強感測網路的基礎研究,用來支援完成子計畫一、二及四所 需的感測網路通訊技術與感測資料處理技術,建立一套穩定、有效率且牢固的感測網 路,才能有效率、準確地提供各種服務。 子計畫四是另一層次的創新應用,交叉實境的目的是把網路虛擬世界中的 3D 場景 和現實世界中的感測器網路連接在一起,透過現實世界的感測器與虛擬世界進行互動, 讓感應到的資訊能夠在虛擬世界產生相對應的動作,創造更多的互動可能。 目前無線感測器網路研究面臨了一個實用面的重大挑戰— 遲遲未有所謂的殺手 級應用出現,究其原因,在於許多的研究都偏重在各別技術的研發,而未能針對生活上 的需求,提出切合的整合應用系統開發。在本計畫中,我們著眼在人類最重要的生活空 間 — 居家及社區,期望透過結合無線感測網路的功能,營造一有生態概念的溫馨社群 生活環境。本計畫包含了系統平台的建立、創新應用的開發及基礎的研究,是一個深具 前瞻性的整合計畫。相信結合了理論與實務應用,其成果及經驗對國內之感測器網路之 研究及社區環境的發展改造,有著莫大的助益。 In the modern life, emphasizing on security and quality, self-contained communities, such as enclosed villas, elders’ health villages and cooperative granges, become main streams gradually. In this proposal, we extend the research on “Eco-House” and propose the idea of “Eco-Community”, in order to construct and look forward to an intelligent community with ecological care. This integrated project is divided into four sub-projects. The purpose of the first sub-project is to build a cyber-physical community platform, based on wireless sensor networks and Google Earth, and to offer a 3D visualization of the building floors and community's overall layout. It is a reliable platform with high capacity and efficiency, and it makes exhibiting sensing data easy. In addition, it is an interface that can help us to control facilities of the community. The second sub-project focuses on developing innovative applications of interactive intelligent communities. With the help of the platform developed by the first sub-project, the applications can provide a safe, convenient and friendly living environment. There are two issues: (1) human-centric service, such as energy-conserving and comfortable living environments, convenient social networks and handy life information; (2) community management and service system, such as residents and vehicles tracking system, energy management of public utilities and communal facilities management. The objective of the third sub-project is to strengthen the basic research on wireless sensor networks, hoping to support the technologies that the sub-projects will need, and set up a steady, efficient and robust sensing network to offer various kinds of services efficiently and accurately. The fourth sub-project is to build connections between 3D cyber objects and real-world sensor installations. Through the cyber-physical interactions, the information collected by sensors in the real world can lead to corresponding movements in the virtual world, and more possibilities are inspired. The researches of wireless sensor networks face a severe challenge, the lack of the so-called killer applications. There are many researches on individual technologies, but not on the integrated technologies. There are no integral systems in light of the real demand of life. Therefore, we propose an integral Eco-Community project. We believe that this project is original and practical, and the outcomes of this project can help the researchers in both wireless sensor networks and community development.
