Description

Abstract
源項(source terms)對波浪推算之準確性影響甚大,特別是在週期推算方面。本計 畫以風浪模式WWM(Wind Wave Model; Hsu et al., 2005)為基礎,使用不同的碎波消 散項來探討WWM 在各種不同風場條件中模擬結果,進一步進行有限風域在各種不同風 場之波譜變化,來了解不同碎波消散項對波浪推算結果之影響程度。本計畫同時以台灣 地區颱風波浪案例進行模擬,從波浪的推算結果將建議在風浪模式中採用適當的能量消 散公式。消散公式中的經驗係數將藉由敏感度分析和現場實測資料以多重迴歸方法決 定。 Source terms play an important role on the prediction of wind waves, especially on the accuracy of the wave period prediction. In this project, we will use different wave energy dissipation terms in WWM (wind wave model) developed by Hsu et al. (2005) to test the prediction results under variational wind fields. Many energy dissipation functions such as Komen et al. (1984), Alves and Banner (2003) and Babanin and Young (2005) were implemented in the wind wave model WWM to test their predictability of the wind waves. Typhoon events of Taiwan are used to perform the numerical simulation and examine the simulating results of the wind waves. Comparing with the measurements from observed stations, an appropriate formula will be proposed in the wind wave model. In the formula the empirical coefficients will be determined through sensibility analysis and measured data using multiple regression method.
