本計畫藉由重組人類RI量產之最適化探討，提高由單位體積培養液中純化所得之重組RI活性產量。並協助廠商建立由養菌至重組RI純化之完整量產流程，將所量產之重組RI用於生產該公司之COVID-19 RT-qPCR Detection Kit、RT-qPCR及 RScript cDNA Synthesis Kit 商品線。能提供重要原料的自主性，並可大幅降低生產成本，增加產品的價格競爭力。未來更能夠推出新產品線來供應本土化生產的重組RI，而不須仰賴由國外進口，並提升我國生技產業之開發能力。不僅為台灣創造商機、帶來產值，並有助於 COVID-19 的診斷。
