Description

Abstract
Conventionally, a great fleet of large ships are needed when constructing an offshore structure. Nowadays the large ships and relevant constructing techniques are grasped by the industries from foreign countries. This induces a lot of problems for the construction of offshore wind farms in Taiwan, such as wasting too much time for questing the ships and machines, costing too much money for renting the ships and machines, and the lack of experiences for maneuvering the machines. For making the construction easier and less expensive, a native company denominated as Da-Chiau-Zou proposed the concept of multifunctional foundation for the offshore wind turbines. The Da-Chiau-Zou has obtained the patent of the innovative carrier-type foundation. For advanced study on the carrier-type foundation, an interdisciplinary research team is organized by Tainan Hydraulics Laboratory (THL) at National Cheng Kung University and the Da-Chiau-Zou company. The stability during the installation of the foundation and the dynamic response of the foundation after it is settled firmly will be studied and investigated by means of numerical simulation and small scale physical modeling tests. After that, further investigations by the near full-scaled multifunction offshore foundation based marine LiDAR system will be carried out by towing test and settling the prototype into the sea field to investigate the structure dynamic response and local scour (sea bottom behavior response) of the multifunction offshore foundation under the wind and hydrodynamic (wave and current) loadings in-situ. Meanwhile, the wind profile measurement (within 200m above the foundation platform) and wave measurement (significance wave height, wave period and wave direction within the range of 3~5km from foundation) will be taken by the marine LiDAR system then combined with numerical modeling of wind simulation to investigate the wind climate for the potential of offshore wind energy production of the studied area. 傳統海事工程作業必須動員大型施工船隊,而目前這些大型海事工程船隊及施工技術均掌握在國外廠商手上,因而衍生出國內發展離岸風場所面臨之施工排程、成本高昂與缺乏經驗等問題。為克服建置離岸風場時基座施工之技術瓶頸與關鍵性問題,國內大橋舟造船股份有限公司率先提出多功能離岸式基座構想,且已將創新型載體式基座之構型設計申請「離岸式風力發電裝置及其基座」專利。因此,國立成功大學水工試驗所將與大橋舟公司共同合作並組成一跨領域團隊,將經過技術分析、設計、數值模擬之創新型基座,進行基座之沉降穩定性及動態反應測試水工模型試驗驗證。而在完成縮小尺度多功能離岸重力式基座水工模型試驗研究後,規劃將進一步執行現場拖航測試與近全尺度多功能離岸重力式基座搭載海上光達系統現地試驗研究,以觀測近全尺度基座實海域受風動力及水動力(波與流)作用下之結構動態反應及基座局部淘刷(海床特性反應),並同時以海上光達系統進行海域風場剖面(基座平台以上200 m範圍內)量測,另將輔於風場數值模式演算進一步探究研究海域之離岸風場特性與風能產出潛勢。
