隨著港埠間競爭日愈激烈，港埠要在競爭激烈的市場中維持生存並創造利潤，港埠單位若能培養知識管理能力，提升對市場與顧客的回應速度、設備與經營效率、決策品質與創新能力，是維持長期競爭優勢的方式之一。本研究目的在探討台灣地區國際港埠(包括高雄港、基隆港及台中港) 知識管理能力與績效關係之研究，透過訪問暨問卷調查方式，藉由結構方程式模式(Structural Equation Model, SEM)的建立，分析知識管理資源與潛能對績效之影響，此結果可提供港埠當局吸引航商暨營運策略上之參考。
