本計畫之研究目的為開發一個高效率與高準確性的電腦模擬模式，用以計算出二維與三維的不可壓縮黏性流場與強制熱對流現象，並用於評估教室內部的通風換氣效率，以增加電能之使用效率與預防新冠肺炎等傳染性疾病。本計畫的模擬模式完成之後，針對不同教室的形式與室外風速，我們可以決定開關門窗的時機與位置，以及決定開關冷暖氣的時間與裝設位置，能有效的增加電能使用效率，因此對於國家社會與經濟有非常強烈的影響。另外，由於本計畫所採用的幽靈點法是最新發展的無網格法之一，其工程應用與發展是非常重要的研究與測試，在無網格法與計算力學學術研究領域，本計畫之研究成果能在國際上突顯台灣之領先研究實力。
