本計畫的主要研究目的為開發二維與三維的創新無網格法數值波浪水槽，依據數值波浪水槽電腦模擬結果建構作用於海面固定浮體之波浪作用力時間序列預測模式，可以提供未來開發海洋再生能源時之參考依據。本計畫之研究成果可以做為開發各式海上浮式平台時之設計依據，因此可以加快海洋再生能源裝置的研發速度與正確性，增進開發潔淨能源實力，減緩氣候變遷所造成的危害與影響。因此，本計畫研究成果可以促進海洋能源產業，加強經濟活動，並穩定國家社會發展。此外，本計畫研究結合最新計算力學電腦模擬模式與人工智慧演算法，開發數值波浪水槽與作用力時間序列預測模式，在學術研究上具有高度創新價值，能加強國際宣傳效果，凸顯國家學術研究實力。
