| dc.description.abstract | Two porcellanid crabs,Petrolisthes decacanthusOrtmann, 1897 andNeopetrolisthes spinatusOsawa & Fujita, 2001, are recorded from Taiwan for the first time.P. decacanthushas a wide butscattered distribution in the Indo-West Pacific, mainly on oceanic islands. Morphological variationsof this species are noted. Comparison of specimens ofN. spinatusandN. alobatus(Laurie, 1926)has shown that these two species are morphologically close to each other, but distinguished by thearmature of the supra-ocular margin. | en_US |
