| dc.description.abstract | Based on five specimens, including the holotype and paratype as well as two young specimens from Taiwan, the deep-water pandalid shrimp, Pandalopsis miyakei Hayashi, 1986, is rediagnosed, and the variation in colouration in life of this species is noted. It represents the first record of the genus Pandalopsis from Taiwan. Detailed comparison with the species' closest relative, P. coccinata Urita, 1941, is made. | en_US |
