New records of Dromiidae, Aethridae, and Parthenopidae from Taiwan (Decapoda, Brachyura)

Abstract

The following new brachyuran records are reported from Taiwan: Sphaerodromia ducoussoi, Cryptodromia tumida (Dromiidae), Lambrachaeus ramifer (Parthenopidae), and Sakaila japonica (Aethridae). Additional records of some uncommon species from Taiwan, namely Metadynomene tanensis (Dynomenidae), Petalomera granulata (Dromiidae), Daldorfia horrida (Parthenopidae), and Aethra scruposa (Aethridae) are also reported. These bring the number of species known from Taiwan to: Dromiidae (11), Dynomenidae (l), Parthenopidae (12), and Aethridae (2).
