Abstract: 
本文結合多倒易法與對偶邊界元素法針對一維的特徵值問題,分別探討在四種不同的邊界條件下,奇異方程(UT)與超奇異方程(LM)如何表現出互補的關係。在求解特徵值時,我們發現於混合邊界條件的算例中,若單由UT方程或LM方程解之,特徵值將出現增根的現象;此時必須聯合兩種方法,刪除使特徵模態為無意義解之特徵值,方能確定真正的特徵值。特徵態的尋求,對於Dirichlet邊界條件的算例而言,因UT方程所得之係數矩陣為零矩陣,造成邊界模態不唯一。若轉而由LM方程求解,可獨立解德邊界模態。而Neumann邊界條件的算例,其情況恰好與Dirichlet邊界條件的算例相反。從本文的算例結果發現,超奇異方程即使在簡單的一維問題中,仍有其重要性。
