Abstract: 
The development of “global Logistics center” plan has been promoted in Taiwan area since 2000. The operation of modern logistics centers not only requires providing transportation services, but also need smore operational capability to provide more value-added services for users. This study focuses on investigating the operational capabilities and service performance of logistics centers in Taiwan. It begins with a brief introduction to the development of international logistics center. Next is a discussion of the capabilities and services provided by those operators. It also conducts an empirical survey to explore the service performance of the logistics centers from the customer’s standpoint. Some conclusions and further research suggestions are presented in the final part.
