「海運暨管理學院」係於2005年整合本校之「海運學院」及「技術學院」成立之優質學院,為臺灣研究海洋事務之最高學府。其宗旨為發展海運學術研究與培植海運科技與管理等相關領域的高級人才,以因應國家經建趨勢與產業發展需求,培育海運專業高級人才,提昇海運科技,推動產學合作,維持海運界領導地位與建立國際學術聲望為教育目標。

  本學院以航海、輪機(動力、能源)、航運管理、國際物流、運輸科學、海運科技為主軸,兼顧理論與實務,培養新知識經濟時代之航海、輪機、航運管理、運輸科技、海運科技人才為範圍,並配合本校之教育理念與發展目標,以培育航海、輪機、航運管理、海運科技及運輸配送人才、推動海運科技與管理之特色研究、強化海運產學合作交流平台、建立教學及研究之國際交流機制為發展目標。本學院擁有堅強的師資陣容及完善的實驗設備,學生就業出路良好。
