Abstract: 
State-space formulas are derived for a family of controllers solving the nonlinear H-infinity state-feedback control problem. These controllers are obtained by interconnecting the 'central controller' with an asymptotically stable, free system that satisfies one additional cascade condition. All proofs given are simple and clear, and also provide a deeper insight into the synthesis of the corresponding linear H-infinity controllers. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
