New records of 31 species of brachyuran crabs from the joint Taiwan-France expeditions, "Taiwan 2000" and "Taiwan 2001", off deep waters in Taiwan

Abstract

In recent collections from deep waters around Taiwan, numerous new records of brachyurancrabs were obtained for Taiwan. Thirty-one species are added to the known Taiwanese brachyuranfauna, including 13 new records of genera and two new records of families (Homolodromiidae andCymonomidae). The established brachyuran crab fauna for Taiwan now stands at 604 species.
