Crustacean Fauna of Taiwan: Squat Lobsters Chirostylidae And Galatheidae

Abstract

The Taiwan squat lobster catalog contains 2 families， 19 genera and 116 species. Amongst them 11 species are endemic to Taiwan and one species is endemic to Pratas. All the species are illustrated and with color photographs provided for 107 species. Taxonomic keys to species are also given in the catalog.本誌共整理出2科19屬116種，包括臺灣113種、東沙13種，其中 11種為臺灣特有，1種是東沙特有。而臺灣的新記錄則有6屬41種，東沙的新記錄為3屬9種。誌中對臺灣及東沙發現的每種鎧甲蝦類皆提供型態描述、完整分類文獻資料，重要特徵線繪圖和檢索等，大部分(107種)亦附有彩色標本照以利參考鑑別。
